Summer is here, and music enthusiasts are gearing up for an unforgettable season filled with electrifying R&B and hip-hop performances across the globe. 

Here’s a rundown of the hottest Hip-Hop and R&B concerts and festivals this summer:

Major Tours and Concerts

  • Kendrick Lamar & SZA – “Grand National” Tour
    Following his new album GNX and a standout Super Bowl halftime slot, Kendrick teams up with SZA for one of summer’s most anticipated co-headlining tours across North America.
  • The Weeknd – “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour
    On stage from May 9 to September 3 across the U.S. and Canada, featuring guests like Playboi Carti and Mike Dean. 
  • Chris Brown – “Breezy Bowl XX” Stadium Tour
    Starting June 8 and running till October 18, this tour revisits hits from his debut and includes Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller. 
  • Tyler, The Creator – “Chromakopia” Tour
    Ongoing now through July 27 in the U.S. and abroad, supporting his latest album
  • GloRilla – “The Glorious Tour”
    The breakout rapper’s debut headlining tour runs March 5 to July 25 (wraps in Memphis), with support from Real Boston Richey and Queen Key.
  • Wu-Tang Clan – “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” Farewell Tour
    Spanning June 6 to July 18 across 27 U.S. dates, with Run the Jewels as support. This marks one of the group’s last major tours.

Wu-Tang Clan – “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” Tour

Hip-hop aficionados will witness a monumental moment as Wu-Tang Clan embarks on their farewell tour. Kicking off on June 6 in Baltimore and concluding on July 18 in Philadelphia, this 27-date tour features the group’s iconic members alongside Young Dirty Bastard, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son. Run the Jewels will serve as the opening act for most dates, promising an evening of classic and contemporary hip-hop . 

GloRilla – “The Glorious Tour”

Rising star GloRilla continues to captivate audiences with her debut album, Glorious. Her North American tour, featuring support from Real Boston Richey and Queen Key, runs from March 5 to July 25, 2025, making it a summer highlight for fans seeking fresh talent in the hip-hop scene.

Essence Festival – New Orleans, July 3–6

Celebrating Black culture and music, the Essence Festival is a cornerstone event in New Orleans. Expect a dynamic lineup of R&B, hip-hop, and gospel artists, alongside panels and workshops focusing on empowerment and community. 

Rolling Loud Miami – July 19–21

As one of the largest hip-hop festivals globally, Rolling Loud Miami promises a weekend of high-energy performances. While the 2025 lineup is yet to be announced, previous editions have featured top-tier artists like Travis Scott and Future, setting high expectations for this year’s event.

Sol Blume – Sacramento, August 15–17

Sol Blume returns to Discovery Park, bringing together a blend of R&B, soul, and hip-hop artists. Known for its inclusive atmosphere and diverse lineup, the festival continues to be a staple for fans seeking soulful sounds and emerging talent.
