Cedar Walton – American hard bop jazz pianist. He came to prominence as a member of drummer Art Blakey’s band, The Jazz Messengers, before establishing a long career as a bandleader and composer.
Eartha Kitt – American singer, actress, comedian, dancer, and activist known for her highly distinctive singing style and her 1953 recordings of “C’est si bon” and the Christmas novelty song “Santa Baby”. Orson Welles once called her the “most exciting woman in the world”.
William Hart – American singer/songwriter of R&B vocal group, The Delfonics.
